FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY MADE: Last weekend’s ’Father-Daughter Encounter’ at our church’s incredible retreat center in south Georgia was truly unforgettable. I loved hanging out with my 10-year-old, Abby, and will forever treasure these precious moments. Eleven22 outdid themselves with another exceptional event.Most importantly, we deepened our bond with our daughters and drew closer to Jesus. Alongside the other dads and daughters (ages 9-12), we enjoyed activities such as swimming, waterslides, slip-and-slide kickball, tug-of-war, foot-golf and other games, and watched an entertaining movie with popcorn and ice cream on Friday night.The festivities culminated Saturday evening with a delicious dinner in Coolidge Tavern, followed by the highly-anticipated Daddy-Daughter dance. Thoughtfully, the church provided stylists to pamper the girls with hair and makeup before the dance. (I wasn’t “allowed” to see Abby’s dress until I met her for the dance—she looked beautiful.) Meanwhile, the dads retreated to our cabins to pen heartfelt letters to our daughters, which we later shared with them in a powerful and emotional, face-to-face moment. I’m grateful for these sweet experiences with Abby and for our wonderful church family, who welcomed us to their historic property to honor our daughters while glorifying God. We had a fantastic time today with the leaders of LunsPro Inspections, JoyLights Seasonal and Permanent Lightscapes and Fix-it Flamingo at our first-ever quarterly meeting with these companies at our new office in St. Augustine, FL. 🔎🏠✨🦩🚀We then enjoyed lunch together at a nearby Mexican restaurant. #BringTheJoyVentures💫
